early music performances focused on Renaissance, Baroque and Classic music to Mountain Maryland. Plan to become a local resident for this long weekend and enjoy festival events that highlight not only the unsurpassed music performances but also special historic delights in Cumberland and the surrounding area. Breakout music presentations, art gallery visits, and historical tours will also be folded into these special days in this naturally beautiful and culturally rich region of Maryland.

by Mountainside Baroque: “From Britain to the Blue Ridge,” with the Allegany Museum, celebrating the special heritage of the “crossover” of British ballads to the Appalachian Mountains. In conjunction with a special Ballad Exhibit at the museum.

of Handel’s Alexander’s Feast by Mountainside Baroque will combine all the professional forces seen earlier in the week, along with additional soloists, and Mountainside’s resident choir, the Scholars of St. Cecilia.
