MOUNTAINSIDE BAROQUE INC FUND CAMPAIGN REACHES INITIAL $10,000 MATCH LEVEL

The Mountainside Baroque Inc Fund, announced at the 2025 Back to Back: Bach to Bach concert, was initiated thanks to a generous $50,000 lead gift from Jean Helz and Wayne Zimmermann.

The goal of this sustainability fund campaign is to raise a total of $150,000 over several years, thus allowing us to continue to provide Cumberland with many more years of the quality of the music you have come to expect. In furtherance of this goal, one donor pledged a $10,000 match to the Spring 2025 gifts.

[With $12,205 received so far, the first segment of the matching level has been reached and brought to us an additional donation of $10,000 from a matching fund. This brings the total to $22,205 beyond the initial $50,000 gift from Jean and Wayne. Another donor has put in a similar match for next season geared toward making our long-range goal more attainable.]

Housed at the Community Trust Foundation in Cumberland, Maryland, our fundraising campaign aims to provide us with the financial stability to facilitate growth, as well as to help better plan our concerts several years in advance, book musicians more effectively, and offer a wider variety of concerts, ultimately enriching our community’s musical experiences well into the future. We look forward to continuing to ensure that the finest professional musicians from across the country will continue to come to perform in our beautiful mountain location.

Thanks again, Jean and Wayne for giving us this head start!
